Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026.

These terms are between you and HippoDoodle Ltd (company number SC880656, registered in Scotland), which runs The Round Table.

1. What The Round Table is

A thinking tool. You ask a question; several AI members think it through over rounds; a Chair writes up what they found. It is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial or any other kind). AI can be wrong. You decide what to do, and you are responsible for that decision.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or over.

3. Your account

You can try parts of The Round Table without an account. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.

4. Paying

Payments are not open yet. When they open:

5. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time; it stops at the end of the month you have paid for.

By law you usually have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. When you buy, we will ask you to agree that the service starts straight away and that you lose that right once you start using what you bought. Anything you have not used is still covered by the 14 days.

6. Fair use

Do not use The Round Table to break the law, to harm anyone, or to make things you are not allowed to make. We may suspend an account that does, or that puts the service or other people at risk.

7. Your content

What you bring to the board stays yours. We do not keep what is said in your deliberations (see the privacy policy). The reports the board writes are yours to use.

8. If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep The Round Table running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. An AI member may sometimes not answer; the board carries on with the others.

We are not responsible for decisions you make using what the board says, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits anything the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will show the new date at the top and point out anything important in the app.

10. The law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own country's courts.
